Ikea College Park Maryland - Random Pics
I had heard that IKEA frowned on folks taking pictures within their stores and I was prepared to stop if someone asked me too...no one did. Experimenting with high ISO settings while shopping shelves to put in my son's room.

Wireless Remote Shooting with Dell XPS Gyroscope Remote and Canon Eos Utility
Remote Shooting with Dell XPS Gyroscope remote control and the Canon EOS Utility .
A lot of new computer systems that have multimedia capabilities come with remote controls. For wireless remote shooting, I tether my Canon to my Laptop which has a Gyroscope remote control which I then use to control the EOS utility that came with the camera. Here is a picture of me setting up for remote shooting:
The camera is behind the Monitor, (yes I know the lens cap is on), The Dell remote can be seen leaning on the CPU. I just use that to point at the shutter button of the EOS Utility software and Viola' wireless remote. With this particular Dell system the keyboard is remote as well (blue tooth) and that is why it is not pictured.

Campitello Ski Resort

Campitello is a pleasant small and quieter resort with the Col Rodella lift taking you from the centre up to some wide open and blue runs, which beginners and imtermediates will love. The unspoilt resort is calm during the day with lovely shops and café’s and comes to life in the evenings with some great restaurants and bars.
Off piste activities include a gym and an ice rink. There are numerous restaurants and a nightclub. Nearby Canazei offers further bars and nightlife, as well as a swimming pool.
Campitello is part of the Sella Ronda ski area, which is unlike any other with stunning scenery, superb snowmaking and a diverse mix of slopes catering for all levels. In terms of size, the network rivals the Trois Vallees in France and it is possible to ski the circuit in a day through the four valleys of Val Gardena, Val di Fassa, Alta Badia and Arrabba. Arrabba itself offers some great north facing black runs.

Airport Outlet Hog
The Airport was pretty deserted so I wasn't denying anyone use of an outlet, but I have to tell you I searched for awhile before I found one. I think this was in North Carolina.
The Socket Seekers
Just when travelers thought they had run out of things to complain about at the airport, their fading laptops and cellphones have signaled yet another problem: a shortage of power outlets.

St. Martin (Marteen) Vacation Circa 92-93'

Saint Martin (Dutch: Sint Maarten; French: Saint-Martin) is a tropical island in the northeast Caribbean, approximately 240 km (150 miles) east of Puerto Rico. The 98 km² (38 square-mile) island is divided roughly in half between France and the Netherlands; it is one of the smallest inhabited landmasses in the world that is divided between two nations. The southern Dutch half is called Sint Maarten and is part of the Netherlands Antilles; the northern French half is called Saint-Martin and is part of the French overseas région and département of Guadeloupe. Collectively, the two territories are known as, "St.-Martin/St. Maarten", "St. Martins", or simply, "SXM" (SXM is the IATA identifier for Princess Juliana International Airport, the island's main airport). Remarkably, neither of the two halves of Saint Martin warrants a separate FIPS PUB 10-4 territory code; they are presumably coded as GP (Guadeloupe) and NA (Netherlands Antilles).
The main towns are Marigot (French side) and Philipsburg (Dutch side).
The French part of the island has a land area of 53.20 km² (20.5 sq mi). At the October 2004 supplementary French census, the population in the French part of the island was 33,102 (up from only 8,072 inhabitants at the 1982 census), which means a population density of 622 inh. per km² in 2004.
Sint Maarten, the Dutch part of the island, has a land area of 34 km² (13.1 sq mi). At the 2001 Netherlands Antilles census, the population in Sint Maarten was 30,594, for a population density of 900 inh. per km². In 2004 the population of Sint Maarten was estimated at 33,119.
